Tenders Are Invited For Construction Of An Extension To Katima Mulilo Campus University Of Namibia Brief Description The University Of Namibia Unam Has Received A Grant From The German Government Within The Framework Of German Financial Cooperation With Namibia Via The Kfw Development Bank Kfw As A Result The University Intends To Use Part Of This Grant To Finance A First Phase Of The New Construction Of The Campus For The Department For Wildlife Management And Ecotourism Of The University Of Namibia In Katima Mulilo Namibia Tenderers Wishing To Apply To Act As General Contractor For This Project Are Invited To Submit Their Applications For Prequalification With All Detailed Information As Described In The Prequalification Document In This First Stage The Prequalification Applicants Are Required Based On The Prequalification Document To Demonstrate Their Qualification In Terms Of Experience Capacity And Resources To Perform The Contract Applicants That Fulfil The Requirements As Per Prequalification Document Are Considered Prequalified In A Second Stage Prequalified Applicants Are Invited To Submit A Technical And Financial Offer The Evaluation Of The Offers Will Follow A Two Step Approach First A Technical Evaluation Will Be Done According To The Published Evaluation Criteria Second A Financial Evaluation Will Be Done For All Applicants That Pass The Technical Evaluation Based On The Monetary Figures For This Financial Part Of The Evaluation A Margin Of Preference Shall Apply According To The Namibian Procurement Act Section 71 4 Incentives And Conditions Must Be Used To Promote Partnerships Joint Venture Arrangement And Foreign Entities To Team Up With Namibian Bidders In The Bidding Process And For The Period Of The Execution Of Procurement Contracts This Applies For All Procurement Under International And National Competitive Bidding
