Sealed bids for construction of 2019 Sylvania CDBG will be received until August 27th 2020 10 AM at the City of Sylvania City Hall at 104 South Main Street Sylvania Georgia 30467 Bids will be publicly opened and read at the City of Sylvania City Hall front door at this time Bids may also be mailed to 104 South Main Street Sylvania Georgia 30467 Attn Stacy Mathis Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty 60 days There will be a non mandatory pre bid meeting scheduled for August 13th 2020 10 AM at the City of Sylvania Farmer s Market at 117 Maple Street Sylvania Georgia 30467 The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following Sanitary sewerage system rehabilitation including but not limited to replacement clay sewer mains with approximately 5 259 LF of 8 PVC sewer mains using the pipe burst method 23 LF of 8 PVC using the dig and replace method 672 LF of 8 ductile iron using the dig and replace method and replacement of 3 981 LF of service laterals using the dig and replace method The project will also consist of 6 new manholes conflict box rework storm pipes manhole rehabilitation tees removing asphalt and patching with 8 GAB 1 478 tons of 9 5 MM mix asphalt and grassing Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred eighty 180 calendar days All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications The Work will be awarded in one 1 Contract Plans Specifications and Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering LLC Copies may be obtained from Parker Engineering LLC 36 Courtland Street Suite B Statesboro Georgia 30458 Phone 912 764 7722 Email lindsey parker engineering com upon payment of 150 00 for each full size set non refundable
