Tenders are invited for Construction of Main Canal 1 and Main Canal 2 Op Thc Shi Rf Valley Irrigation SchemeThe Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Man Canal 1 and Mam Canal 2 of the Shire Valley Irrigation Scheme The works under contract covers the construction of Main Canal 1 MC1 from Station 6 000 up to 32 788 Bifurcation pont and part of Main Canal 2 MC2 from Station 0 000 bifurcation point up to Station 18 024 Lengwe national park The works will include construction of two inverted s phons on MO three inverted siphons on MC2 Bndges box culverts Canal Crossing structures Concrete lined canal and wire fencing around populated areas The works are located in Chikwawa District in the lower Shire Valley approximately 60km from the City of Blartyreinterested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Shire Valley Transformation Program 1 and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 7 30 am to 12 00 pm and 1 00 pm to 5 00pm Monday to Friday except on Weekends and Public Holidays at the address given below in 10 a Bids must be delivered to the address below stated in 10 b on or before2 00 pm local time on 21 September 2020 Electronic bidding will not be permitted except e mail submission as detailed in UB BOS 22 1 In view of COVID19 there are additional bid submission options as detailed in ITB80S 221 Late bids will be rejected Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below at KXb at 2 00 pm local time on 21st September 2020 In view of COVID 19 the public opening will also be live streamed and video recording will be posted for viewing through the SVTPs
