fields 2 Project backgroundThe project involves the construction of a drinking water supply system and therehabilitation upgrading expansion of existing networks involving construction of 19 MultiVillage Drinking Water Supply Systems MVWSS in Benin There are 82 administrativevillages connected to the 19 MVWSS distributed in 07 Departments of Benin The overall objective of the project is to improve access to drinking water in rural areaswithin the framework of universal access to drinking water by 2030 Specifically the project aims among other things to i ensure access to an improved drinking water source for the beneficiary populations ii ensure continuous and sustainable availability of drinking water and iii ensure quality drinking water on a permanent basis For the purpose of
