General Procurement Notice For Integral Management Of Yojoa Lake The Inter American Development Bank Idb Provided The Government With The Republicof Honduras A Non Reimbursable Technical Cooperation For A Total Amount Of Us 450 000 00 For The Development Of The Program Integral Management Of Lake Yojoa Whose Objective Is To Strengthen The Integral Management Of The Sub Basin Of Lake Yojoa Through The Development Of Technical And Environmental Studies Environmental Awareness And Community Extension Strategies In Order To Contribute To The Conservation Of Water Resources And Environmental Sustainability For The Generation Of Hydroelectric Energy In Service To Society Component I Technical Studies Development Of Specialized Technical Studies To Define The Baseline This Component Will Finance The Completion Of Specialized Technical Studies On Water Balance Bathymetry Water Quality And Identification Of Sources Of Pollution And Environmental Deterioration That Will Serve As Inputs To Develop A Comprehensive Management Plan For The Sub Basin In Addition The Information Will Be Useful To Establish A System For Monitoring Water Quality And Environmental And Social Conditions Of Lake Yojoa Component Ii Community Participation With This Component A Consultancy Will Be Contracted To Formulate A Diagnosis And A Strategic Plan To Support The Watershed Management Unit Umc To Define Comprehensive Community Awareness And Extension Actions That Promote Guarantee The Conservation Of Water And Environmental Resources From The Sub Basin Of Lake Yojoa And Its Surroundings The Product Of This Component Will Be A Strategic Plan For Community Awareness And Extension Component Iii Capacity Development This Component Aims To Strengthen The Technical And Operational Capabilities Of The Umc Of The Enee Generation Unit Support The Umc To I Define An Appropriate Organizational Structure To Fulfill Its Strategy And Ii Strengthen Its Capacity To Implement Modern Sustainable Practices For Watershed Management With Communities And Iii Develop An Action Plan To Improve Your Financial Sustainability
