Migratory Crises Further Strengthening Is Necessary For Increased Involvement In Coordination And Leadership Of The Child Protection Humanitarian Preparedness And Response Both At National And Sub National Level This Is Particularly True Given The Range Of Challenges To ChildrenS Protection Including Mobility As Unaccompanied Children Sexual Violence Trafficking Child Labour Exposure To Armed Violence Etc During 2018 Unicef Regional Office For Latin America And Caribbean Lacro Held A First Workshop On Child Protection Minimum Standards In Humanitarian Action With Countries Affected For The Migrant Venezuelan Flow And There Is Strong Recognition That There Is A Need To Reinforce Existing Mechanisms For Maximum Sustainability Of The Preparedness And Response As Such Whilst The Process Will Be Based On Similar Experiences In West And East Africa Material And Approaches Will Be Adjusted To Meet Needs In The Latin American And Caribbean Region The Work Stream Will Focus On Seven Countries In The Latin American Region Who Are Implementing Child Protection Actions In A Humanitarian Context To Attend Venezuelan Migration Crisis Colombia Brazil Ecuador Peru Guyana Trinidad And Tobago And Panama The Overall Aim Of The Process Is Continuing To Strengthen These Governments Institutional Capacity And National Counterparts For Coordination Of Child Protection Response In Humanitarian And Early Warning Situations Purpose Of The Job The Purpose Of This Consultancy Is To Contextualize Adapt And Roll Out The Training Package On Child Protection Preparedness And Response
