Tenders Are Invited For National Consultant Value Chain Analysis BackgroundThe Project Strengthening The Role Of Youth In Reducing Conflict Through The Promotion Of Rural Employment In Conflict Prone Areas Aims To Sustain Peace By Addressing Two Interlinked Root Causes Of Conflict In Liberia Namely Grievance Over Insufficient Participation Of Young Women And Men In Local Dispute Resolution And Lack Of Employment And Livelihoods Opportunities For Rural Youth The United Nations Liberia Multi Partner Trust Fund Supports This 24 Months Project Located In Bong Tumutu Salala Totota And Lofa Garglonta Salayea And Zorzor Counties The Project Beneficiaries Are 1 200 Young People Males And Females Between The Ages Of 18 35 The Project Is Being Implemented As A Joint Programme Jp By Fao Wfp And Ilo The Participating Un Organizations Puno Collaborate With The Ministries Of Agriculture Youth And Sports Gender Children And Social Protection And Eventually The Liberian Land Authority And Cooperative Development Agency Civil Society Organizations Are Acknowledged Partners To The Project The Joint Programme Implementation Through Fao Seeks To Hire The Services Of A Consultant To Conduct A Detailed Value Chain Analysis Of Three Agricultural Produces Rice Vegetables And Poultry It Is Aimed At Enhancing The Overall Level Of Agricultural Production And Commercialization With Focus On
