Million This Subcompon Ent Will Focus On I The Rehabilitation Of Sluices And Locks The Projectwill Finance The Rehabilitation Of Two Ship Locks Each A T The Outlets Of The Saramacca And Suriname Rivers As Well As Thefive Door Sluice Gate At The Outlet To Suriname River And The Fou R Door Sluice Gate At The Outlet To Saramacca River This Will Bethe First Activity To Be Undertaken Under Component 1 So That Wate R Levels In The Canal Can Be Adequately Managed While The Otherwork Components Are Carried Out Ii Increase Conveyance And Naviga Tion Through Re Profiling And Clearing The
