Request For Expressions Of Interest For Water Resources Technical Assistant For The Freetown Wash And Aquatic Environment Revamping Project Washaerp Project Freetown Wash And Aquatic Environment Revamping Project Washaerp The Contract For A Water Resources Technical Assistant Water Resources Ta To Support The Executing Agency Guma Valley Water Company Gvwc And Partner Implementing Agencies To Implement Project Related Water Resources Management Services Services Include I Organization Of Regular Integrated Water Resources Management Iwrm Coordination Meetings And Facilitation Of Working Meetings With Relevant Stakeholders Particularly Between The National Water Resources Management Agency Nwrma Environment Management Health And Sanitation Land Use Country Planning And The National Protected Area Authority Npaa Among Others Ii Support To And Supervision Of Consultant S Undertaking Water Resources Potential And Catchment Water Shed Assessments Both Surface And Groundwater Including Design Of Hydrometric Networks Stream Channel Training And Water Abstraction And Transmission Infrastructure As Well As Comprehensive Technical Reviews Of Respective Designs Iii Supporting Procurement Of Services Providers Including Preparation Of Tor Bidding Documents And Provision Of Oversight Of All Water Resources Management Activities Under The Project And Participating In Project Technical Meetings Iv Relevant Contribution To The Preparation Of Quarterly Semi Annual And Annual Project Implementation Progress Reports The Project Has Been Developed Based On The Integrated Water Resources Management Iwrm Approach And Therefore Includes Interventions In A Rehabilitation And Expansion Of Water Treatment Transmission Storage And Distribution Systems B Solid And Liquid Waste Collection Treatment And Disposal Services C Infrastructure Provision And Capacity Enhancement For Effective Protection Of The Western Area Protected Forest Water Shed And Water Resources Monitoring And D Promotion Of Good Sanitation Hygiene And Child Nutrition Practices Of The Primary Beneficiaries While Facilitating Their Gainful Participation In The Improvement Of Wash Services The Assignment Is To Be Performed In Freetown Sierra Leone And Will Require Intermittent Inputs Of At Most Eighteen 18 Person Months Over A Period Of At Least Three Years Renewable On Annual Basis Subject To Satisfactory Performance
