Children And Adolescents In Mexico Close To A Third Of The Population Whose Wellbeing Is Important For The CountryS Present And Future Development Over 13 Percent Of This Group Falls Between The Ages Of 12 And 17 A Crucial Stage In Youth Development For Self Identity Personality And Interests As Well As For The Development Of Skills And Abilities Needed To Thrive In Life And Work This Stage Between 12 17 Also However Exposes Adolescents To Threats To That Development Most Notably The Effects Of Dropping Out Of School And When Risks To Future Wellbeing Are Highest Such As Adolescent Pregnancy Violence Incorporation Into Informal Employment And Connection To Crime Among Others Unicef 2018 During This Critical Stage Of Adolescent Development It Is Important That Adolescents Acquire Skills That Allow Them To Make The Best Decisions For Their Futures And Provide Them With Tools To Confront Challenges In Violence Climate Change Obesity Addictions Sexual Transmission And Early Pregnancies Among Many Others These Skillsets Will Contribute To Their Job Prospects And Minimize Their Exposure To Various Daily Risks To Their Wellbeing And Livelihood Unicef 2018 Launched In 2018 Generation Unlimited Is A Public Private Partnership Initiative Aiming To Ensure That Every Young Person Between The Ages Of 10 24 Has An Access Channel For Schooling Training Or Employment By 2030 Generation Unlimited Focuses On Three Areas Secondary Education Skills For Employment And Youth Empowerment By Promoting Youth Participation In Confronting Todays Issues Generation Unlimited Aims At Abilities Of The Procurators Offices Children And Its Service Providers To Identify Treat And Support Children And Adolescents Who Are Survivors Of Violence C Provide Safe Spaces And Psychosocial Support Activities For Adolescents In Communities And Schools A Result Of Project Echo Has Been The Creation Of A Curricular Package Of Life Skills For Adolescents Developed For Teachers But Still Needing Work To Complement And Perfect Spotlight Initiative Eliminating Violence Against Women And GirlsThe European Union Eu And The United Nations Have Launched A New Alliance To Eliminate All Forms Of Violence Against Women And Girls This Initiative Promotes A Series Of Political Commitments At The Highest Levels And Contributes To Reaching Sustainable Development Goals Sdgs Particularly Those To Work Remotely However A Minimum Of 35 Days On Site Are Required During The Duration Of The Contract At The Unicef Mexico Country Office To Attend Working Meetings And To Collaborate With Unicef Officials Education Authorities Civil Society And Other Stakeholders When Requested By The Supervisor On Site Days Will Be Agreed Upon With The Supervisor At The Beginning Of The Contract The Consultant May Also Work In UnicefS Mexico City Office 3 Days A Week In Which Case The Days Will Be Agreed Between The Consultant And His Her Supervisor Regular Meetings Via Skype When Requested By The Supervisor Are Required The Consultant Will Not Need To Travel Further Information On The Selection ProcessInterested Parties Should Separately Submit Technical And Economic Proposals The Details Of How They Shall Be Evaluated Are Elaborated Below Candidates Must Also Present A Conceptual Note No Longer Than 15 Pages Including An Introduction Methodology Preliminary Workplan Proposal And Recommendations This Note Will Be Considered By The Selection Panel Together With Other Criteria Evaluation CriteraThe Selection Criteria Of The Candidate Will Be Based Including But Not Limited To Compliance With The Requirements Indicated Above And Calculated As Follows The Selection Criteria Of The Candidates Will Be Based Including But Not Limited To Compliance With The Requirements Indicated In The Terms Of Reference And Calculated As Follows The Technical Evaluation Will Have A Value Of 60 And The Economic One A Weighting Of 40 Candidates Must Ensure At Least 40 Of The 60 Of The Technical Assessment Assigned By The Evaluation Committee To Proceed With The Evaluation Of Their Economic Proposal The Economic Proposal Will Be Evaluated With The Following Formula Lowest Economic Proposal Multiplied By 40 Divided By The Proposal To Be Evaluated The Project Will Be Assigned To The Candidate Whose Profile Gives With The Best Overall Rating Of The Three Abovementioned
