Incidence I E Risk Distribution By Province It Helps Clarify Critical Aspects Of Emergency Preparedness And Response Management And Defines The Roles And Responsibilities Of The Institutions Concerned While Respecting Their Official Mandates Within The Document Coordination Mechanisms Have Been Proposed At The National Level However To Make Sure That This Plan Is Endorsed Locally It Is Essential To Link The Provincial Plans With The Central Level In 2018 Two 2 Pilot Provinces Namely The Provinces Of Logone Occidental And Salamat Were Tasked To Develop Multi Risk Contingency Plans With Simulation Exercises Like Other Provinces Of Chad Theses Provinces Too Are Not Spared From Hazards Including Epidemics Floods And Population Movements These Provinces Share Chads Corridors With Cameroon Car Nigeria And Niger Both Regions Are Exposed To Flooding Due To High Rainfall The Risk Of Epidemics Cholera The Influx Of Refugees And The Constant Movement Of Internally Displaced Populations Unicef Undp And Unfpa Are Already Supporting The Provincial Action Committee Pac Of The Lake Through The Elaboration Of Provincial Development Plans Pdp It Is Therefore An Opportunity For Unicef To Support The Chadian Government In Developing Provincial Contingency Plans In Two 2 Additional Provinces Such As The Logone Occidental And Salamat The Results Expected From This Consultation Are Aligned On The Product 4 Of Unicefs 2019 Annual Workplan The Country Is Able To Provide A Coordinated Response To Humanitarian Crisis And Emergencies And The Outcome 4 Of The Undaf By The End Of 2021 The State Adopts Implements And Promotes The Use Of Social Protection Child Protection Crisis And Disaster Preparedness And Management System As Well As Early Recovery Systems With Echo Financial Support Unicef Identified Convergence Areas Namely The Logone Oriental And Lac For The Continuation Of Emergency Preparedness And Response Plan These Plans Will Help Better Define The Roles And Responsibilities Of Comprehensive Basis For The Work Plan Of The International Consultant Through The Definition Of Objectives And Expected Results Including Specific Principles And Working Methods Under The Supervision Of Chief Field Operations Emergency The Consultant Will Develop Preparedness And Response Planning As Well As Tools For Monitoring And Evaluation Within Unicef Priority Regions For The Affected Communities In A High Risk Zones In Chad Key Function And Related Duties Tasks Contribute To Adequate Emergency Preparedness Measures In Country Office Through The Development And Updating Of Country
