Tenders Are Invited For Local Consultant Itc Ilo Certified Gender Audit Facilitators Undp Partners With People At All Levels Of Society To Help Build Nations That Can Withstand Crisis And Drive And Sustain The Kind Of Growth That Improves The Quality Of Life For Everyone For Undp Creating Equal Opportunities For Women And Men Is Critical For Equitable Sustainable Development And Poverty Reduction Hence Gender Equality Is In Core Of The Undp Mandate Globally And Nationally Undp Armenia Within The Past Decade Has Continuously Implemented Projects On Women Empowerment Gender Equality And Youth Leadership In Armenia Un Women Grounded In The Vision Of Equality Enshrined In The Charter Of The United Nations Works For The Elimination Of Discrimination Against Women And Girls The Empowerment Of Women And The Achievement Of Equality Between Women And Men As Partners And Beneficiaries Of Development Human Rights Humanitarian Action And Peace And Security WomenS Economic Empowerment In The South Caucasus Project Hereafter Project Is A Newly Commencing Initiative Of Un Women Supported By The Swiss Agency Of Development And Cooperation And Austrian Development Agency In Three Countries Of South Caucasus The Purpose Of The Project Is To Ensure That Women Particularly The Poor And Socially Excluded In Armenia Azerbaijan And Georgia Are Economically Empowered And Participate In Relevant Decision Making The Armenian Segment Of The Project Will Be Implemented By Undp Armenia In Partnership With Ra Ministry Of Territorial Administration And Development Ra Mtad And In Close Collaboration Un Women Country Office In Georgia Partnerships And Synergies Will Be Ensured With Regional Local Governments Private Companies Civil Society Organizations Other Women Empowerment Projects In The Country And Region The Joint Project Will Work In The Following Directions Support Women Particularly The Poor And Socially Excluded To Use Skills Economic Opportunities And Relevant Information To Be Self Employed And Or To Join The Formal Labour Sector In Armenia Azerbaijan And Georgia Grass Roots Level Support To Legislative And Policy Frameworks In Armenia And Georgia To Enable WomenS Economic Empowerment Policy And Legislation Level Support The Government And Public Institutions To Develop And Deliver Gender Responsive Programmes Public Services Strategies And Plans For WomenS Economic Empowerment In Armenia And Georgia Institutional Level Throughout Implementation Of Its Projects The Partners Will Combine Conventional And Innovative Approaches Allowing Room For Experimentation And Testing Of New Solutions With Application Of Design Thinking And User Centric Approaches Currently Undp Initiates Participatory Gender Audit Pga At The Ministry Of Territorial Administration And Development Of The Republic Of Armenia Ra The Purpose Is To Support The Ministry In Its Commitment To Gender Equality By Examining The Extent To Which Equality Is Being Institutionalized Helping To Identify Good Practices In Technical Work And Pointing To Effective And Efficient Ways Of Moving Forward In Mainstreaming Gender In All Work Activities To That End Undp Seeks To Recruit National Consultants Itc Ilo Certified Gender Audit Facilitators For Conducting The Assignment In May April 2018 Un Women Supported The Training And Certification Of Pga Facilitators In International Training Center Itc Of Ilo Turin Italy The Pga Methodology Has Been Elaborated By Ilo In The Beginning Of The 2000S 1 According To The Ilo Definition The Ilo Participatory Gender Audit Is A Tool That Supports An OrganizationS Commitment To Gender Equality By Examining The Extent To Which Equality Is Being Institutionalized Helping To Identify Good Practices In Technical Work And Pointing To Effective And Efficient Ways Of Moving Forward In Mainstreaming Gender In All Work Activities 2 Given The Above Pga Methodology Is A Tool Which If Fully Applied Can In A Complexity Be Beneficial Not Only For Those Organizations That Undergo Such Audits But Also The Beneficiaries Of These Organizations The Pga Will Explore Whether The Internal Practices And Related Support Systems For Gender Mainstreaming Are In Place Effective And Reinforcing Each Other Monitor And Assess The Relative Progress Made In Gender Mainstreaming In The Organizations Identify The Critical Gaps And Challenges In Terms Of Effective Gender Mainstreaming And Recommend Ways For Addressing Them Last But Not Least Document Good Practices Towards The Achievement Of Gender Equality To Implement The Work Spelled Out In The Description Section Above Undp Intends To Hire In Total Three National Consultants Facilitators To Work And Perform Identical Duties And Responsibilities In A Team And Conduct The Participatory Gender Audit At The Ministry Of Territorial Administration And Development The Team Of Three Facilitators Will Jointly Perform The Pga 1 The Training Manual On Participatory Gender Audit Was Adapted By Ilo Was First Developed By Gender And Development Training Centre For The Stichtingnederlandsevrijwilligers In The Netherlands In The Early 2000S 2 Ilo A Manual For Gender Audit Facilitators The Ilo Participatory Gender Audit Methodology Ilo 2007 5 Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Duties And Responsibilities Of The National Consultant S Are Elaborate And Submit The Work Plan
