Request For Tender For Contract 27 18 90 Water Meters Replacement Relocation Contract Closing Date Time 10 04 2019 2 00P M NzRegion WaikatoThe Scope Of Contract Works Covers The Installation Of Manifolds Water Meters And Meter Boxes Isolation Valves And Check Valves Within The Waipa District Council Area Generally In The Areas Of Te Awamutu Kihikihi Ohaupo Pukerimu Pirongia And Cambridge There Are Four Types Meter Replacement Or Relocation Works Required These Are Listed Below I Replacement Of An Existing Old Meter At The Same Location With A New Meter The Manifold Isolation Valve Combination Or Separate Will Be Replaced If Required Depending On The Condition Double Check Valve Where Required Will Also Be Replaced This Includes Removal Of The Old Meter And If Required Manifold Toby Check Valve If Present Meter Box If Damaged Or Not Suitable Ii Replacement Of An Existing Old Meter With A New Meter Manifold Toby And Double Check Valve If Required At A New Safe And Accessible Location Within Close Proximity Of The Existing Meter And Usually On The Same Alignment But Further Away From The Property Boundary This Includes Removal Of The Old Meter Manifold Toby Check Valve If Present Meter Box If Damaged Or Not Suitable And Any Associated Redundant Pipe Work Iii Relocating An Existing Good Meter To A New Safe And Accessible Location Within Close Proximity Of The Existing Meter And Usually On The Same Alignment But Further Away From The Property Boundary This Includes Removal Of Any Associated Pipe Work That Becomes Redundant As A Result Of This Meter Relocation Iv Replacement Of An Existing Old Meter At The Same Location With A New Smart Meter Manifold Isolation Valve And Double Check Valve If Required This Includes Removal Of The Old Meter Manifold Toby Check Valve If Present Meter Box If Damaged Or Not Suitable
