Asgirap 1 Background The Problem Of Integrated Management Of Natural Resources Is One Of The Concerns Of The Cameroonian Government This Concern Is Variously Appreciated According To The Different Agroecological Zones Of Cameroon The Sudano Sahelian And Sudano Guinean Zones In The Far North Are Those With A Critical Mass Of Conflicts Over The Use Of Natural Resources They Constitute 1 3 Of Cameroons Surface Area Nearly Half Of Which Is Declared Reserved Areas This Situation Contrasts With A Booming Population Where The Vast Majority Of The Population Is Mainly Rural And Farming Cohabitation Between The Two Categories Of Operators Formerly At The Origin Of Agropastoral Conflicts Is Increasingly Possible Thanks To The Efforts Of The Government And National And International Partners It Is In This Same Perspective That The Program For Support To The Security And Integrated Management Of Agropastoral Resources In North Cameroon C2d Asgirap Was Set Up By Minader And Minepia Financed By The French Agency Of Development Afd Through The Funds Of The 2Nd Rural C2d 2 Presentation Of The Asgirap Program The Asgirap Program Was Developed In 2013 With The Objectives Of Reducing Rural Poverty Reducing Conflict Improving The Productivity Sustainability Of Agropastoral Resources And Resilience To Climate Change It Has Been In Place Since 2014 Following The Agreement Between F Afd And The Cameroon Government And Is Under The Joint Project Management Of Minader And Minepia In Addition To The Coordination Component Component 4 The Program Relies On Three Operational Components Namely A Support Component For Space Consultation Bodies And Two Components For Improving The Sustainability And Productivity Of Climate Change Systems Production I Of Cotton For Component 2 Ii Non Cotton For Component 3 The Program Works In A Set Of 20 Communes And 200 Villages And Its Implementation Period Is Five 5 Years 2015 2019 In Its Fourth Year Of Implementation It Is Imperative To Assess The Progress Made And If Necessary Consider Prospects For The Rest Of The Program It Is In This Perspective That The National Coordinator Launches This Notice Of Call For Expressions Of Interest Relating To The Prequalification Of Firms That Will Be Invited To Submit An Offer In The Context Of A Restricted International Tender 3 Purpose Of The Opinion The Purpose Of The Notice Is To Pre Qualify A Firm Or Firms That Will Be Invited To Submit An Offer For The Mid Term And Final Independent Evaluation Of The Securitization Support Program Integrated Resource Management As Part Of A
