Request For Expression Of Interest For Update Second Baseline Survey For Small Medium Enterprises Smes Update Small And Medium Enterprise Access To Finance ProjectThe Project Has Four Components 1 A Risk Sharing Facility For Sme Loans 2 A Technical Assistance Component For Financial Institutions 3 Capacity Building For Smes And 4 Support To Department Of Commerce And Industry Project Implementation Unit The Consulting Services The Services Involves Undertaking A Comprehensive Sme Baseline Survey Of Formal Sector Enterprises Operating In Png In Order To Obtain Information Regarding Numbers Locations Sectors Ownership Size Etc The Will Improve The Business Enabling Environment For The Sme Sector By Providing Factual Information On The Issues Facing The Sector To Gopng And Key Stakeholders This Will Also Create A Mechanism For Monitoring Sme Sector Development And Contributing To The Improvement Of The Local Regulatory And Administrative Environment The Central Supply And Tenders Board Cstb On Behalf Of The Department Of Commerce And Industry Now Invites Eligible Consulting Firms Consultants To Indicate Their Interest In Providing The Services Interested Consultants Should Provide Information Demonstrating That They Have The Required Qualifications And Experience To Perform The Services The Shortlisting Criteria Are I The Firms Must Demonstrate Track Record And Relevant Experience Conducting Surveys Of This Nature Or Similar In Developing Countries And At Least Two Of The Last Three Engagements Were Directly Involved In Designing And Undertaking Surveys In Png Or The Pacific Ii Has Ability To Conduct High Quality Strategic And Policy Research Work In Collaboration With Relevant Stakeholders And The Survey Information Produced Is Sound And Acceptable By Key Stakeholders Iii Proven Track Record In Disaggregating Survey Data Into Segments Eg Gender Industry Type Etc And Iv Has The Ability To Deliver A Large Complex Survey In Png On Time And On Budget This Notice Was Posted On 5 December 2018 And Has Been Updated On 21 December 2018 Please Note That The Deadline Has Changed From 21 December 2018 To 31 January 2019
