Advance Contracting Notice For Sustainable And Climate Resilient Connectivity Project Brief Description Of The Project The Project Will Improve Port Operations In Nauru The Project Will Build A Climate Resilient Port In Nauru Including A Wharf A Berth Pocket And A Breakwater At The Port Of Aiwo It Will Also Reconstruct Port Buildings The Container Storage And Port Security Facilities The Project Will Support Institutional Reforms To Strengthen The Port Authority Of Nauru For Sound And Efficient Port Governance And Management It Will Also Establish A Revolving Fund To Ensure Sustainable Port Operations And Maintenance O M The Project Is Aligned With The Improved Sustainability Resilience And Quality Of Life Of All Of The Nauruan People Economy And Society It Will Improve Reliability Climate Resilience And Efficiency Of Aiwo Port Brief Description Of Goods And Related Services Works Or Consulting Services To Be Procured The Advance Contracting Will Be Undertaken In Conformity With Adb Procurement Guidelines 2015 As Amended From Time To Time And Adb S Guidelines On The Use Of Consultants 2013 As Amended From Time To Time It Will Procure A Civil Works Contract And Recruit A Supervision Consultant Firm Following Advance Contracting Procedures Civil Works The Procurement Of Civil Works Will Follow International Competitive Bidding Icb In Accordance With Adb S Single Stage One Envelope Bidding Procedures And Will Be Open To Interested Bidders Without Nationality Restrictions The Works Will Include Marinebased And Land Based Works The Marine Based Works Will Consist Of Creation Of A Port Basin Berth Pocket The Construction Of A New Quay Walls For The Wharf And Abreakwater The Land Based Works Include The Construction Of A New Secure Container Terminal Buildings Including Warehouse Building And Office And Port Security Arrangements Complying International Ship And Port Facility Security Isps Requirements The Contract Period Will Be 22 Months Consulting ServicesThe Consulting Services Will Be Engaged For Supervision Of The Civil Works An Estimated 81 Person Months International Of Consulting Services Will Be Recruited To Facilitate Construction Supervision And Project Management Consulting Firms Will Be Engaged Using The Quality And Cost Based Selection Qcbs Method With A Standard Quality Cost Ratio Of 90 10 Disclaimer Assumed Deadline 30 Days Of Publication
