Quotation are invited for 72.5kv Composite Sealing End Terms Delivery Date: 2026/11/02 Delivery To: Electricity - Ndabeni RED1 Plant / PH: 511 0410 Delivery Address: 13 Melck Street, Ndabeni Closing Date: 2026/09/21 Closing Time: 12:00 PM Description: 3 each x 72.5kv composite sealing end terms Specification: * SPECIFICATION FOR 3 X 72.5 COMPOSITE SEALING END TERMINATIONS 1.The termination kit shall be a composite/polymeric sealing end type with silicone sheds suitable for 66kV outdoor application. 2.The kit shall be designed for 66kV nominal voltage with a maximum system voltage Um of 72.5kV and shall be type tested as per IEC 60840. 3.The termination kit shall be suitable for single core 400mm² Copper conductor, XLPE insulated, corrugated seamless aluminium, PE outer sheathed cable. 4.The unified specific creepage distance shall not be less than 57.6 mm/kV and the specific creepage distance shall not be less than 33.3 mm/kV. 5.The termination shall be designed for Very Heavy pollution conditions in accordance with IEC 60815. 6.The termination shall provide a watertight seal at the cable entry and shall prevent moisture ingress for the service life of the cable. 7.The termination shall be suitable for operation in the temperature rand -30oC to 60oC. 8.The termination conductor shall have a maximum short circuit current rating of at least 63kA. 9.Bidders shall provide valid manufacturer type test data conducted in accordance with IEC 60840 and IEC 60815 for the exact 66 kV composite termination offered. The type test data shall be submitted with the technical datasheet at the time of bidding. Generic test reports or reports for different designs will not be accepted. NB: the outdoor termination shall be manufactured in accordance with BRUGG drawing no. S1923-4 or OEM approved and certified equivalent, attached. ***SPEC DOCUMENT ATTACHED*** **1.
