Expression of Interest are invited for Technical Support for Clean Cooking Policy Implementation in Nigeria The objective of this consultancy is to bridge the gap between policy adoption and practical implementation in the clean cooking sector in Nigeria. Achieving this requires a multi-faceted approach: (i) Developing accurate consumer profiling for targeted interventions. By understanding the unique characteristics, preferences, and constraints of various consumer segments, initiatives can be more effectively tailored to meet actual needs. (ii) Proposing business models that are suited to Nigerias diverse communities/regions and aligning them to the different targeted consumer groups. Such models must address both urban and rural contexts, and the wide arrange of socio-economic household profiles, while fostering adaptability, affordability, and scalability. (iii) Ensuring robust financial and technical viability throughout the entire clean cooking pipeline (spanning production, distribution, maintenance, and end-user support) is also paramount for sustained progress. (iv) Prioritizing solutions and market-based delivery models that can make significant strides toward widespread access to clean cooking technologies while raising private sector participation and contributing to environmental sustainability. (v) Identifying appropriate coordination mechanisms across different stakeholders at both federal and state levels, streamlining resources, and driving collective impact in advancing Nigerias clean cooking agenda.
