Work Detail

The Scope Of Work For Feeding The Bisons Will Include The Delivery Of 80 Tons Of Food And Transport, Ongoing Maintenance Of The Brogues (E.G. Nailing The Railing Torn Off By The Animals), Maintaining Regular Cleanliness Around The Feeding Areas And Shifting And Scooping The Delivered Food. The Need To Feed The Bison Results From The Implementation By The Forest District Of The Project Managing Bison Migration In Eastern Poland, Financed From European Funds And The Forest Fund. The Subject Of The Order Includes The Supply Of Feed In The Following Composition And Quantities: • Hay - 55 Tons (In Bales), From This Years Harvest In The Hajnówka District, In Order To Avoid The Introduction Of Undesirable Plant Species And Parasites; The Moisture Of The Supplied Hay Must Not Exceed 15%, Without Mechanical Impurities, Without Mold, Without Grass, Rushes And Marsh Sedges. Hay Must Be Free Of Such Features As: Musty Or Rotten Smell And Contamination With Soil, Straw, Manure Residues And Harmful Plants. Hay From One Cut Is Preferred. Optionally, Hay From The Second Cut Is Allowed. Hay Should Be Placed In Haystacks),• Hay Silage - 2 Tons (From This Years Harvest, Made From Dried Grass),• Crushed Oats - 7 Tons (Devoid Of Features Such As: Musty Or Rotten Smell And Soil And Straw Contamination),• Fodder Beets - 15 Tons, (Healthy, Without Mechanical Contamination, Cleaned Of Leaves, Roots And Soil),• Salt – 1 Ton Of Salt Cubes With Selenium (Licks) – Cubes Weighing 10 Kg. Supplementary Feeding Will Be Carried Out Throughout The Entire Forest District. Intended Feeding Places, Which May Be Changed If Necessary On The Ground: 526Ad, 526Bc, 549Aa, 546Cf, 580Ad, 248Db, 339Aa, 475Bm, 393Bf, 422Bg, 422Bf, 445Df, 470Df. The Feeding Places Are Related To The Location Of The Haystacks Into Which The Contractor Puts The Delivered Hay. The Bison Will Be Fed According To The Instructions Of The Forest District Employees, In The Indicated Locations. Preparation For Work And Adjustment Of The Necessary Machines And Devices, Travel To And Back From The Location Indicated In The Order, Performance Of The Procedure - All Using The Means And Forces At The Contractors Disposal. As Part Of Supplementary Feeding, Waste And Perishable Food Should Be Regularly Cleared From The Surface, Outside The Area Administered By The Forest District, Where The Food Will Be Placed Again. The Contractor Should Ensure Proper Cleanliness Around The Feeding Areas, Replenish The Feed And Scoop Up Unspoiled Hay Scattered By The Bisons Into The Haystacks, And Rake The Hay From The Inside Of The Haystacks To The Outside In Order To Ensure Continuous Access To The Food By The Bisons. The Contractor Is Obliged To Maintain The Bridges On An Ongoing Basis, Including Nailing And, If Necessary, Replacing Detached Poles, Boards, Etc. Materials For Ongoing Maintenance Are Provided By The Contractor. The Forest District Requires That The Hay Be Placed By The Contractor In Accordance With The Orders Given, And Tha
