This Request For Proposals (The “Rfp”) Is An Invitation By Bc Transit (The “Owner”) To Prospective Proponents To Submit Proposals For Construction Management For Services And Construction For Battery Electric Bus Charging Infrastructure And Facility Upgrades – Kamloops Transit Centre (The “Project”), As Further Described In Section A Of The Rfp Particulars (Appendix B) (The “Deliverables”).This Project Is A Major Infrastructure Initiative To Design And Construct Upgrades That Optimize Operational Efficiencies At The Kamloops Transit Centre Located At 1460 Ord Road, Kamloops, British Columbia (The “Facility”). This Project Will Increase The Capabilities Of The Facility To Support A Mixed Diesel And Battery Electric Bus (“Beb”) Fleet By Installing Direct Current (Dc) Fast Chargers And Associated Electrical Infrastructure. The Project Also Seeks To Install Infrastructure Within The Maintenance Buildings To Support New Maintenance Requirements For A Battery Electric Bus Fleet.This Solicitation Is For The Provision Of Construction Management As Constructor Services (The “Services”), Including Pre-Construction Services, Construction And Post Construction Management Services And Associated Construction Work (The “Work”).
