proposed project is Funded by the JNNURM & UIDSSMT and developed by Haldwani Nagar Nigam (HNN), the project entails strengthening of a) existing waste collection, segregation and transportation system, b) installation of compost plant (windrow technology) and sanitary landfill facility. The facility will serve entire area of Haldwani City divided in twenty five wards including Damuadunga and other four cluster towns [Bhimtal, Kichha, Lalkuan and Rudrpur] under administrative control of HNN. The facility will be operated on PPP basis.
