Indian Immunologicals Ltd ( IIL), part of the National Dairy Development Board, is setting up a new vaccine manufacturing facility in Pondicherry involving an investment of Rs 300 crore. Land for the vaccine production facility was already acquired and a decision on variety of vaccine will be taken in a year during which all other necessary approvals will be availed.
