The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited
The Supplyco has begun work on a seven-floor suburban hyper mall at Piravom Gramapanchayat, located on the outskirts of the district. The 60,000-square feet facility, coming up at a 36-cents property handed over by the panchayat, is a first-of-its-kind initiative by the government-owned agency. The cost of establishing the project is estimated to be Rs.12 crore. Besides, the agency is also looking at leasing out commercial space for outside agencies to open store or other business ventures. The first phase of the project comprising three floors will be completed within seven months from now while the remaining works will be completed in another eight months.
