Bajaj Electricals Ltd. Said that the Engineering & Project Business Unit of the company had bagged two orders aggregating to Rs.322.92 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) for 765kV transmission line and rural electrification work at Kushinagar District in Uttar Pradesh.
The transmission line order was for Rs.159.15 crore and the scope of work involves supply of 765kV double circuit towers, earth wire, hardware and accessories, survey, foundation, erection, stringing, testing and commissioning of transmission line on turnkey basis.
The order for rural electrification work was for Rs.163.77 crore and the work was for 33/11kv substation (new + augmentation), 33kV line, 11kV line, distribution transformer stations, LT line and BPL connections.
Both the orders are to be completed within 18 months, the company said.
