Kharland Development Circle (Kldc) Has Proposed Saline Embankment Scheme At Koni Kelvane Village In Panvel Taluka Of Raigad District. The Objective Of Project Is To Protect Agricultural And Grazing Land In Order To Strengthen Socio‐Economic Status Of Nearby Villages. This Site Is Located On The Banks Of Karanja Creek, A Sub Creek Of Dharamtar Creek; Which Is Near To Kelvane Village Of Panvel Taluka, Raigad District. Current Embankment Was In Very Poor State And Needs To Be Rebuilt In Order To Protect Agricultural Land As Well As Protect Villagers During Floods. The Total Length Of Bund Is 1930 Meter
