RIL Nagothane Presently Utilizes A Mixture Of Ethane And Propane To Produce Downstream Products And By Products, NMD Facility Proposes To Modify Its Feedstock Ratio Of Ethane And Propane In The Gas Cracker Plant Owing To The Availability Of Shale Gas Ethane Imported From USA. This Change In Feed Stock Mixture Will Result In Higher Production Of Ethylene. Thus Capacity Of Ethylene Oxide, Ethylene Gycol, Hexene-1, Metallocence Will Be Enhanced To Accommodate The Increased Ethylene Production.NMD Also Propose To Enhance The Capacity Of The Captive Power Plant From 85MW To 100MW By Way Of Refurbishing And Also Use Ethane As A Fuel Owing To Its Economic Viability And Availability. Further The Project Also Includes Expansion Of The Existing Township With Additional Residential Apartments Within The Township Area. Through This Process Of Expansion The Production Goes 30% Rise After Implementation Of The Project.
