With the premium and luxury biking segment steering on the growth path, Swiss bicycle maker Scott SA is pushing the pedal in the Indian market.
Besides setting up technology centres, the company is evaluating the possibility of putting an assembly line in India.
Scott Sports India said it will set up at least five technology centres for cyclist and cycling enthusiasts over the next 12 months.
“Superior technology products, services and the overall experience are what Scott Technology Centre India will offer. We plan to open five such over the next 12 months which could become the hub for cycling and outdoor sports,” Beat Zaugg, CEO & President, Scott Sport SA
